What AI Photo Edit collects, what happens to your photos and edits, and how long we keep them

AI Photo Edit is run by ONETU LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, which is responsible for your personal data (the data controller).
In short
- Your photos are used only to make the edits you ask for.
- Uploaded photos are deleted automatically after 7 days.
- Finished edits stay in My works for 30 days, and you can delete them any time.
- Your photos and edits are private unless you turn on sharing.
- We do not create face templates or any other biometric identifiers from your photos.
- We never sell your data, and we never use your photos or edits to train AI models or in our own marketing.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and name. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your profile picture. If you sign in with email, your password is stored only as a secure hash.
- Photos you upload, the instructions you type and the edits we make for you. When you keep editing a result, that result is saved as a new upload.
- Purchases: what you bought, when, and your credit balance. Card details go straight to our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
- Usage data: pages visited, the site or link that brought you here, and basic device details such as browser type and IP address. We use them to keep the service running, stop abuse and see which pages help people.
Your photos and edits
Why we use them. A photo you upload and your instruction are sent to an image model provider only to make the edit you asked for. The finished edit is saved to your account.
How long we keep them.

You can delete any edit yourself in My works at any time. Deleting your account removes your uploads and edits too.
Who can see them. Only you, while you are signed in. If you turn on sharing for an edit, anyone with its link can see it until you turn sharing off or delete it.
What we never do. We do not sell your photos or edits, use them to train AI models, or use them in our ads, sample galleries or social posts without asking you first.
Faces in your photos
Editing a photo means the image model looks at the whole picture, including any faces, to make the change you describe. We do not extract, measure or store face geometry, face templates or any other biometric identifiers, and we do not use photos to recognize or identify anyone.
AI markers on edited images
The image models we use add an invisible marker to the images they make (SynthID from Google, C2PA data from OpenAI), so the images can be recognized as AI-generated. We keep these markers and do not remove them, and edited images are labeled as AI-edited in your account.

We rely on a few providers to run AI Photo Edit. Each receives only what it needs for its job.

We use cookies to keep you signed in, protect your account and remember which link first brought you here. See the Cookie Policy for the details.
Your choices
- Delete any edit in My works.
- Delete your account in Settings.
- Email support@aiphotoedit.ai to get a copy of your data or to have your account, uploads and edits removed. We reply within 3 business days.
Age
You must be 18 or older to use AI Photo Edit. Upload a photo of anyone under 18 only if you are their parent or guardian.
Data security
Data travels over encrypted connections, and access to stored files and records is limited to the people who run the service.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use your photos or edits, we also tell you by email.
